Lake Montezuma is a census-designated place in Yavapai County, Arizona, United States. The population was 3,344 at the 2000 census. The Lake Montezuma CDP includes the communities of Rimrock and McGuireville. Lake Montezuma/Rimrock is presently the fastest-growing community in Yavapai County. The three communities are surrounded by the Coconino National Forest, and are about 20 minutes from the red rocks of Sedona.
