City Hanover is a town located on the Connecticut River in Grafton County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 10,850 at the 2000 census. It is best known as the home of Dartmouth College. Hanover borders the towns of Lyme, Canaan, and Enfield, New Hampshire; Norwich, Vermont; and the city of Lebanon, New Hampshire.
