Weatherly a borough in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, 12 miles northwest of Jim Thorpe. Early in the twentieth century, there were silk mills, foundries, a candy factory, a fabricating plant, and a cigar factory. In 1900 2,471, and in 1910 2,501, people lived here. The population was 2,612 at the 2000 census. Weatherly is located 8 miles southeast of Hazleton and 7 miles north of Nesquehoning. Weatherly's elevation is at 1437 feet above sea level.
