City Cedar Park is a city in Williamson County, Texas, United States. A small portion of the city also sits in Travis County, Texas. From a population of 5,161 in 1990, Cedar Park grew to a population of 26,049 at the 2000 census. As of 2006, the population is estimated to be around 42,400, making it the seventh-fastest growing city in the United States. The city is considered to be a suburb of Austin, Texas. The center of Austin is approximately 16 miles to the southeast, although Austin directly borders Cedar Park at the latter's Southern extent.
