City O'Donnell is a city in Texas, United States. The population was 1,011 at the 2000 census. O'Donnell is considered as a town of Lynn County, although a part extends into Dawson County and the town has residents in both counties. The town was the boyhood home of Dan Blocker, better known as Hoss Cartwright on the television show Bonanza. There is a small museum in O'Donnell featuring some Dan Blocker memorabilia.
