City Everett is the county seat and largest city in Snohomish County, Washington located 25 miles north of Seattle. As of the 2000 census the city had a total population of 91,488, making it the 6th largest in the state and fourth-largest in the Puget Sound area. Because of growth and annexations, the population as of April 1, 2007 was estimated to be 101,800 by the Washington State Office of Financial Management.
